Personal statement
Hi there, I am a certified Chinese-English professional translator, university lecturer and researcher now working in southwestern China bordering on northern Myanmar. I was born and grew up in mainland China, where I received primary up to undergraduate education, and ever served in succession as a teacher of English, import and export company staff, and in-house or freelance translator and interpreter.
I ever applied successfully to higher institutions for postgraduate studies in UK, US, and New Zealand, but considering my affordability for the tuition and living expenses, I chose Thailand as the destination to further my postgraduate studies.
While teaching mainly Translation Theory and Practice to the Chinese university students, I also make most of my spare time rendering translation services to clients at home and abroad, with the skills, qualification, hands-on experience, and professionalism.
If eligible for your requirements, also with any chance to work with you, I’d appreciate your time and consideration. If you still need further information, please let me know. Many thanks.
