After gathering rich experience as a Senior Translator and Proofreader from various ministries in Cameroon, including: - Ministry of Justice, - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, - Ministry of Communication, Information and Culture - Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, I have been working as a full-time freelance translator since 2015. . PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I recently did some Subtitling work (45 minute video) on behalf of CCJK. - Most of the projects I have carried out as a freelance translator include translations in medical, technical and industrial fields for international NGO’s and corporations such as Acklands Grainger, Indian Motorcycle and other leading industries specialising in technical, mechanical, electric, electronic, construction, and agricultural engineering. - Scientific and Medical Translation - Translation of documentation on medical, pharmaceutical equipment and reports related to various fields including cardiology, endoscopic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedic care, urology and degenerative diseases (diabetes, hypertension, cancer, etc.). - On behalf of the IRECAM Project, the Cameroon branch of the Atlanta Center for Disease Control and Prevention, I translated numerous documents pertaining to the fight against lymphatic filariasis, clinical survey protocols, epidemiological surveys and others which were carried out in Eastern and Central Africa. - Other translation projects involved sustainable development, pollution, impact of technological, environmental and industrial choices on health, lifestyle and food security. Marketing and commercial translation Other achievements included corporate communication, translation of manuals and marketing documentation for food supplements, health products and medical equipment manufactured by pharmaceutical firms such as Tasly, Tianshi, Greenworld and Meilun.
