My name is Eunhae Hong. I am a native Korean and I can translate from English to Korean and the other way around as well.

I am working as a part-time translator, but I check my emails very often. Also, I work with a fast pace thus am good at working with deadlines.

I have been studying English since I was 8 years old and I have always loved it.

I continued to study English by going to a foreign language high school. Most classes there were either in English or in Korean, and they were about English literature, grammar, history etc. I also studied for English official exams like TOEFL.

I had used English everyday while I lived in Amsterdam for a year as an exchange student - it was a pity that I don't know Dutch, but everyone could speak English there.

When I was in Holland for a year(2012), I was lucky enough to get a job as a freelancer to translate Korean to English/English to Korean. I worked with a Dutch publishing company who was trying to promote a book by a North Korean guy. He had escaped from working camp and made a book about his story with an American Author. The book is called 'Escape from Camp 14: One Man's Remarkable Odyssey from North Korea to Freedom in the West,' and both the Korean guy and the author were traveling in European countries including the Netherlands. I worked with them for all days when they were in Holland, following them for a documentary filming, lecture, interviews, etc.

As all my experiences tell, I can translate/interpret without a problem from English to Korean as well as Korean to English.

I would like to work as a translator/interpreter and I am good at working with deadlines.
I not only am responsible for my work, but also enjoy working as a translator/interpreter.

So, if you need a person who is both good at Korean and English, I would love to work as your partner.
