I am a qualified Romanian-English-French translator and teacher and qualified interpreter with about 8.5 years experience in translating documents from specialised areas such as: law, education, economics, general engineering and medicine. I also worked as a tour guide, translator and interpreter, while living in Romania. I currently am a sworn translator authorised by the Romanian Ministry of Justice and legalised and approved by the Romanian Embassy in London, where I am based.

Among my French translations, the following could be mentioned: geology and hydrology paper; extradition file and summons; doctor employment contract; criminal record; marriage certificate, celibacy certificate and divorce certificate.

Furthermore, I have, to date, completed projects, as a translator and reviewer, from bodies and national agencies such as: National Health Service, HM Prisons and Courts Service, Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), Immigration and Nationality Directorate, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), as well as projects involving genetics/clinical research.

I have also fulfilled tasks set by the Government Unit in Ireland, consisting of translations for the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) files and European Parliament petitions.

As a translator, I make good use of CAT tools, such as Trados (purchased licence), Wordfast, DejaVU, Across, MemoQ and XTM Workbench.

Last but not least, I have also been granted the Metropolitan Police Certificate by the Chartered Institute of Linguists, which enables me to carry out translation and interpreting acredited work for police and Courts of Law, as well as other public services.

Since I was granted the NRPSI membership, I have successfully completed 30 court assignments (in and outside London), 5 lengthy NHS assignments concerning C-sections and another surgical intervention in operation theatres (the longest being a 7
