Hello, This is Emily from China,I'm coming here to look for some translation works to do. Graduated from China's top 4 Language university--Xi'an International Studies University,I got a bachelor's degree in English literature in 2008. In the past four years, I worked as a full time translator and English editor in a famouse golf magazine in China. As you may know,golf is a new game in China and people are eager to learn all the knowledge about golf from the West.We are translating golf books,magaizne artilces,reports,news etc. into Chinese and publish. I was responsible for a golf magazine column's English articles translation and editing in terms of golf course designing, club management, course maintenance, news and tournaments reports etc;Helped to build the copyright relationship with famous international golf magazines and journals, and invite golf writers to make contribution to Golf People magazine;Interviewed famous figures of the golf industry such as golf course architects, club operators, general managers and golf course superintendents to produce high-end talks and featured reports;Attended golf tournaments or golf exhibition/show to collect information and explore partnership with golf brands; I have interviewed a lot of famous golf course architects like Robert Trent Jones Jr.(RTJ Golf Design), Brain Curley (Schmidt-Curley Design), Dr. Michael Hurdzan (Hurdzan Fry Environmental Golf Course Design), Erick Larsen (Arnold Palm Design Company), Phil Ryan(PCD Golf Design), Mark Holliger ( JMP Golf Design Group), Rick Jacobsen etc, for column writing and joined the translation work of the Golf Course Architecture book of Alister Mackenzie into Chinese. Apr.2011: Accompanied Dr. Boris Budagyah of GB Star Inc for business negotiation with XAUT CGT,LTD. in Xi'an, provided English communication assistance, helped the two sides move forward their purchasing agreement. | |
