I am a professional Russian linguist with extensive experience in translation, editing and proofreading service. I hold a degree in Russian Linguistics, graduated from Tbilisi State University, Department of Language and Linguistics, majoring in Russian philology with specialization in literary translation. After graduation of the University in 1990 I was admitted to the English Language Department of Postgraduate Course of Simultaneous Interpretation at Tbilisi State Institute of Foreign Languages, which I graduated in 1992 with Honors Certificate. After that I have been providing translation, revision, proofreading, localization and transcription services to private companies, public sector and international organizations, translation agencies and private individuals. At the moment I work as a full time translator (English<>Russian<>Georgian) at the largest power distribution company - JSC "Telasi", which once was owned by Americans but now the Russians have taken charge of the company. I translate, revise, edit and proofread wide range of company documents, minutes, agreements, business plans, financial reports, laws, rules, manuals, guides, standards, specifications, technical instructions, etc. Apart from my permanent job I am also freelancing. Until today, I successfully completed hundreds of projects for multiples clients around the globe. | |
