My name is Enrique Carcache and I live in Bogota, Colombia. My mother tongue is Spanish and I am very fluent in both English and German since I have a master’s degree in Translation for all three languages from the Universität des Saarlandes. After finishing the university, I did an internship at a translation company calles ACT Fachübersetzungen where I learned how to use Trados and translated and proofread. This opportunity helped me to obtain my current job at a company called Pantoglot, where I have been working for the past seven years now. Here, I perfected the use of Trados and perform the following tasks: translation, proofreading, editing, transcribing and subtitling. Mostly I have worked with English <>Spanish translations and I have had a few German as well. Some of the Colombian clients I have worked for are: Isagen, Celsia, ETB, Bancolombia, Banco de Bogota, etc. Some international clients I have worked for are: Klein Tools, KnowBe4, WeatherTech, Gerber, SEIU, etc. Regarding my subtitling experience, my company worked with a Venezuelan company for little over a year and some programs I subtitles were: Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, Intervention, Rookies, 60 days In, Forged in fire and others. You won’t need to tell me twice to do something and I will always try to deliver on time and talk to you if it is necessary to get more time from the client.
