I retired as a servant of the Brazilian federal government five years ago, and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since 2009, I have been working as a freelance contributor to the daily newspaper Politika, from Belgrade. I am beginning a new career as a freelance translator, but I have a long history with foreign languages learning and translation. I have been doing technical and journalistic translation, as a tool to perform my professional activities, but also literary translation, a hobby to which I have been dedicating myself for more than twenty years.

My background, my professional experience and my personal interests are eclectic. I started in a technical career (engineering), but then I extended my horizons to the social sciences (classical political economy), tax law, the Portuguese language (which I know deeply) and the learning and use of other languages. For many years I have been cultivating a hobby that has made me meet people all over the world and visit several countries: the game of chess, in which I specialized in the composition of problems.

I am a very responsible and flexible person.
