Translator & Subtitler, from English and Spanish to French.
Subtitling, voice-over, literary, technical, law, scientific, medical, commercial, tourism, newspaper and document translation.

Studying a degree in Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility at the ITIRI (Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations) in Strasbourg, a city at the heart of European affairs, has taught me how to become a skilled translator (in a great variety of sectors) and subtitler. After successfully going through a highly demanding degree in a renowned Institute, I am able to adapt to short deadlines without forgetting the crucial importance of quality in translation. Sense of duty, discipline and passion in work are among the values my family taught me. Living in the United Kingdom for one year (2011/12) and travelling in many other countries around the world has allowed me to experience other cultures and greatly improve my language skills. The two work placements I have had in 2014 have helped me gain an awareness of the translation and audiovisual industry and directly put into practice the linguistic and technical skills I acquired at university. ST' 501, the subtitling company I worked for as a trainee, were highly satisfied with my work and I am currently working for them as a freelance subtitler. I am on the lookout for any exciting opportunity in translation. Being a translator was already my goal in secondary school, and after studying languages in higher education for five years and having my first professional experiences, I am now more motivated, enthusiastic than ever.
