I would like to introduce myself to your company. My name is David Schofield and I am a U.S. citizen and an approved U.S. C.C.R./D.O.D. (Dept of Defense) bidding partner (DUNS: 328922021 DUNS PLUS4: CAGE/NCAGE: DJ862), active translation provider for the European Parlament & Commission as well as a United Nations Global Marketplace service provider (No. 218133). I have translated/localized many hundreds of medical, chemical and technically related files including multimedia, manuals, product advertisements, technical specifications, websites, software, contracts and other legal documents over the last 19 years as a professional translator, editor and proofreader. I have worked with several renewable energy device manufacturers, including Alstom generators with whom I have translated dozens of patents and technical texts. I have also written and translated many contracts, marketing materials and press releases, including for the CeBIT. I would love to start a regular working relationship with your company via an initial work order. I also do quite a bit of voice-over for American English voice talent for mostly learning materials, occasionally advertising, and work closely with recording studios at both my homes in Bangkok Thailand and in Mannheim Germany. I studied biochemistry and European history at University of California San Diego, California and worked in the biotech branch in San Diego for some years. I have extensive experience in bio-technology, medicine and pharmacology as some of my regular clients include Merck, Pfizer and Roche. |
